Lily Pearmain creates beautiful woodfired ceramics from her London studio. Originally from Norwich, Lily is inspired by British Studio Pottery and her pieces celebrate the marks of making and touch of the hand. All of her clays and glazes are sourced in the UK and often feature locally sourced kiln and hearth ash in her glazes.
The Ash Glaze Cup and Saucer sit beautifully together and the cup fits perfectly in the hand. Both are thrown in a buff stoneware clay and then finished with a beautiful soft grey ash glaze which retains the drama of a wood firing in it’s surface. A wonderful addition to any table.
