Charl Knitwear was created by knitwear designer Frankie Davies after working 20 years designing for other luxury fashion brands. They focus on heritage craftsmanship, often taking inspiration from fisherman knits and techniques. Frankie also works hard to create everything as ethically and sustainably as possible.
The Winterton culottes are ankle skimming wide leg trousers, crafted from Navy merino and cotton yarn spun in Italy and knitted in Nottinghamshire. A lightweight blend which makes it perfect for holiday travel or after the beach. It features a tonal knitted classic Anchor Motif on the side pocket - inspired by the brand’s nautical heritage.
54% merino and 46% OEKO-TEX certified cotton yarn
Size XS/S measures 82cm along the outside leg length (excl. waist band). 34cm wide at the waist (measured on the flat), front rise is 25cm and the back is 33cm, thigh width (measured flat) is 31cm and 27.5cm at leg opening width (measured flat)
Size S/M measures 84cm along the outside leg length (excl. waist band). 37cm wide at the waist (measured on the flat), the front rise measures 26cm and the back measures 34cm, the thigh width (measured flat) is 32.5cm and 29cm at leg opening width (measured flat)
Size M/L measures 86cm along the outside leg length (excl. waist band). 40cm wide at the waist (measured on the flat), front rise measures 27cm and the back rise measures 35cm, the thigh width (measured flat) is 34cm and 30.5cm at leg opening width (measured flat)
The culottes have no external side seam which meas they have a very smooth shape, the front and back rise are neat fitting without being tight.
