Charl Knitwear was created by knitwear designer Frankie Davies after working 20 years designing for other luxury fashion brands. They focus on heritage craftsmanship, often taking inspiration from fisherman knits and techniques. Frankie also works hard to create everything as ethically and sustainably as possible.
Eliza is directly inspired antique night dresses and pinafores. Simple in shape with slightly puffed sleeves, pin tucks on the skirt, a centre back zip fastening finished with a hook and eye closure.
These are made in the UK using hand spun Indian cotton from a woman's co-op, milk protein buttons and dead stock zips.
